(September 2020 - Present)

 

Responsible for identifying new and existing business across a broad portfolio of global companies (Sponsors and CROs) with the Pharmaceutical and Clinical Research space to increase company sales. Generates new contracts and sales leads to drive sales growth. Initiates project management for new client implementation and directs new sales initiatives. Manage large multimillion-poundclient relationships. Develop and implement contracting and negotiation strategies for new business using relevant processes and procedures.

Oversee production of budgets and proposals, ensuring agreement of operational teams for strategies & resourcing.

UK Clinical Account Manager, Synexus Clinical Research (AES/PPD)

(February 2018 – May 2020)

 

Responsible for building and enhancing Synexus’ network of medical partners (Vendors, specialist physicians, Primary care referral networks etc.) in order to increase awareness of the business and, in turn, support the delivery of objectives, future growth and key randomisation targets for clinical trials across our 9 x UK Dedicated Research Sites.

 

Successfully developed a unique network of Gastroenterologists to deliver on 5 new studies over 9 UK sites, contributing to the delivery of multi-million-pound contracts.

Negotiate Study specific contracts with co-operating physicians as well as NHS and private research organisations.

Developed and implemented new and existing processes to support all external network activities including refinements of contracting processes, centralised vendor governance, measurement of activities, Strategic processes for entering new Therapeutic Areas etc.

Successfully developed a network of Psychiatrists and Clinical psychologists to support Major Depressive Disorder in the UK, contributing to $15 million of revenue.

 

 

Healthcare Partnerships Lead, MeDiNova Clinical Research

(February 2018 – May 19)

 

Develop and maintain a network of new collaborations within primary care sector, including GP Practices, Physiotherapists, Pain clinics, Cardiologists etc, to drive business development and execute patient recruitment strategy.  

• Successfully developed a portfolio of over 60 GP practices, Physiotherapist, Cough and pain clinic collaborations which has identified over 20,000 patients

• Manage and grow an existing sales base and develop new customer relationships.

• Identify and attend various, Pharmaceutical and appropriate medical conferences/events that will allow promotion of the company, recruiting studies and potential collaborations.

• Have a good working knowledge on conducting searches on Clinical software (Emis, System one and Vision).

• Develop a strategic plan to locate patients, physicians or potential sites to complete patient recruitment within the timelines required for the overall study delivery.

• Strategically identify and conduct key account analysis, createand develop plans to maintain existing business and gather intelligence for new opportunities.

• Created and managed multiple spreadsheets to track recruitment strategy while providing good insights.

Use and design marketing and promotional materials for Clients and patients, to understand our business and clinical research trials.

Drive patient recruitment throughout the whole process from identification to randomisation.
