Joshua Perrott

I moved to London around 9 months ago after traveling. Since moving here I have been working full time in a restaurant / bar. From doing this job I have picked up many new skills including customer service which I have really improved on and am now very confident with. Before moving to London I lived in Kent working a night shift assistant role at Waitrose for around 14 months, although I enjoyed this job I felt it was not rewarding enough, I also wanted to try working in hospitality or retail and to learn new skills.

Outside of work I have more creative pursuits such as producing my own zines using photos I have taken, and organizing popup events featuring independent artists and designers. My main passion is creating collages which I have recently exhibited and am now working on commissions and trying to get my work noticed.

I have worked as a supermarket night assistant at Waitrose and Partners which contained the roles of organising the stockroom / storefront, completing shopping orders to the highest quality possible.  My most recent professional experience is bartending / front of house at a restaurant and bar, here I learnt high levels of customer service and other great skills such as communication skills, teamwork and team leadership. 

My most recent education is on every day off I have, my hobbies contain learning if its in magazines, television, books or other ways I can gather new knowledge. I am a young creative who is still trying to figure my path, so learning new skills is very important to me.
