Julia Kingston

I am finishing my last year of college and I am looking for full time employment. I am an extremely hard worker and have worked as a waitress in different establishments since I was 16 years old. I have a great work ethic and I am great team member with excellent communication and customer service skills.

As a waitress, I have been given responsibilities such as managing a team, opening up the shop, assisting the manager to order stock and manage different stations. As well as this I greet customers and provide them with great customer service. I communicate effectively within my team and professionally handle customer complaints. I take over-the-phone orders and have a professional tone to my voice. I use tills regularly, and have used different methods if this such as i pads to take orders. 

I am about to finish college this year. During my first year at college, I studied law, justice and protective services and passed the year. After this year, I decided that I wanted to try something else, as at the age of 17 I did not know what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. I then decided I would pursue my interests in media and I am about to complete my first year in media studies. Whilst I have enjoyed the experience of these courses and enjoyed learning something new, it is not something I want to pursue. I want to find a vocation I am invested in.
