My name is Kainat Jones, I am 26 and currently live in North Wales.

I am currently working as a Solicitor, having qualified in January 2021, in a small high street firm dealing with a wide range of matters including, but not limited to Probate, Wills and Estates, Family and Divorce and Conveyancing.

Main areas of work include Private Client Wills and Probate, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Conveyancing (residential and commercial) including new builds and leaseholds, Family and Divorce.

Manage my own caseload, work independently and as a team.

Office admin such as answering calls, taking payments, opening files, typing and filing.

2017 Westlaw Ambassador

Worked as the Westlaw Student Ambassador whilst studying the LPC.

Gained in-depth knowledge of the legal database.

Developed my research skills whilst helping other students develop their research skills and complete assignments.

Attended meetings at Thomson Reuters.

Held group demonstrations and individual drop-in sessions.

Work Experience in the legal department covering areas of law such as land law, criminal law and family law.

Visited Mould Crown Court on criminal hearings of antisocial behaviour and attended witness interviews. Administrative work that included drafted client letters, opened client files, researching and general office admin.
