Every Wednesday to Friday I teach or support in Little Wonderers Nursery. Safeguarding children and communicating with parents about their child’s day. Making sure all nursery tasks get completed and each child is supported in a variety of activities to help develop further provision and key EY developments. 

2 Mile Hill Primary School (January 2022 until February 2022) 

Supporting/LSA in YR1. Full time supporting 1:1 girl with SEN needs, working closely with class teacher and the parents to monitor and support the child in lessons and finding ways to make education for accessible for her. I tailored and organized specialized interventions and work materials. 

Black Horse Primary School (December 2021)

Full time 3-week placement teaching in YR2 following the teachers plans. Each day I would cater and personalize materials to fit all abilities, working closely with support staff to allocate children to work in correct ability groups. I also marked and given verbal feedback for the whole class. Continued with communication with parents and safeguarding children. 

St Teresa’s Catholic School (November 2021 - December 2021) 

LSA in YR1 for 3-week placement, supporting a boy with SEN needs, 1:1 support. I was able to develop knowledge of the particular needs of the child and seek advice from the SENCo, class teacher and outside agencies as required. I was able to access to the full range of learning experiences both inside and outside the classroom and provide modified materials as required e.g., worksheets, games, visual prompt cards etc, to fit the child’s needs.
