WORK EXPERIENCE  – 

Popcore - 2D Artist Feb 2022 - July 2023 

• Led the art direction of one of their popular titles - Scavenger Hunt which has over 10 million downloads on the Google App Store.
•  Worked closely with the other departments to understand limitations. Discussed features and  adhered to deadlines. 
• Created a style guide and mentored new starters on the Scavenger Hunt art team. Aiding with issues that arose with workflows. 
• Organisational responsibilities for art assets and creation of an asset database for     reusing assets between teams and brainstorming other potential steps. 
• Created features requiring testing, concepting, polishing and implementation into Unity. 
• Conceived new map ideas with the team and conducted research based on current trends  and user metrics.
• Created unique, highly detailed maps. Including hundreds of characters and interesting   environments. 
•  Incorporated 3D software into my workflow, creating mock-ups of maps for quicker workflow. 
• Changed content based on team and player feedback. 
• Created UI elements for Special Events and IAPs.   Beyond my work on Scavenger Hunt I also created mock-ups and concepts for other  Popcore titles.  Time was also put aside to learn and became comfortable with several applications: Figma, Blender and Unity. Also UI/UX -principles which was all incorporated into my workflow.

KPrimeArt - Shop  January 2019 - Present 

I operate a side business selling a range of products of my own design, including greeting cards and enamel pins. This has allowed me to gain such experience as:     

• Research and development of products based on my target audience.   
• Conceptualising products using thumbnails, colour schemes and silhouettes.    
• Designing products and working closely with manufacturers to understand the requirements of the product design, potential limitations of product materials.  
• Handling of the business accounting. Inventory stock taking and creation and shipping.   
• Marketing of products across several social media platforms.   

Freelance Illustrator  Feb 2011 – Feb 2022  

I worked full time as a Freelance Illustrator; prior to that I worked as a Freelance Illustrator  part-time alongside my full time position in manufacturing.  

•  Created artwork for an assortment of Indie Game Projects, including Concept Art and 2D Art for characters, assets and environmental elements.   
• Created Illustrations for Marketing Campaigns with professional clients such as Jewson,  Red Lorry Yellow Lorry and The Drum Recommends.  
• Created Illustrations for print, including magazines, books and other mediums.   
• Illustrated for Amazon Audible’s Thriller of the Year and  breakthrough crime Author of 2018.   
• Collaborated with client to create illustrations for the Child Author Project, an organisation that helps give children a platform for creative writing.

• In-depth knowledge of Procreate and Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop and Illustrator.   
•  Working knowledge of Blender, Unity Engine and Figma.
