My role as an Adult Nurse within Maidstone Hospital was primarily within the Short Stay Surgical unit. My responsibilities included, but were not limited to, ensuring patients were physically and emotionally prepared for surgery, evaluating the individuals health and wellbeing and administering medication when required, facilitating general ward management and handover of patients.
