Kathryn Moore

I am a hardworking and dependable undergraduate soon to graduate from an honours degree in Environment and Business at the University of Leeds. I aspire to pursue a career in sustainability. My degree has given me the opportunity to gain first-hand, high-scoring experience in sustainability consulting and reporting. It has also improved my knowledge of economics and helped me understand what it takes to operate a successful business that upholds moral principles and engages in corporate social responsibility. 
 

Sales Assistant at Hugo Boss, November 2023 - Current 
To broaden and build on my four years of experience at H&M, I wanted to move into the luxury fashion sector, and as a result, I secured a new role at Hugo Boss.
I provide an exceptional and personalised in-store service in a luxury boutique environment, whilst developing and maintaining strong customer relationships resulting in increased sales and achievement of sales targets. 
I am trained to comply with all sales-related policies and procedures and am experienced in planning, preparing and managing stock. 
 

Sales Assistant at H&M UK, October 2019 - October 2023 
   •    H&M is a fast-paced fashion environment, and this role gave me the opportunity to gain a variety of valuable communication and customer service skills.

   •    Working as part of a busy team, I was expected to demonstrate good brand and product knowledge, work under pressure, problem-solve and use my initiative to work across every aspect of the store's operations.

   •    Achieved an award for best member working always above 60% of customer conversion membership rate.

   •    Trained in health and safety procedures, including large crowd control, trained new employees and led internal team-building activities. 
 

Amazon May 2020- September 2020 
   •    Worked at Amazon whilst on furlough at H&M during the lockdown. This demonstrates that I am hard-working and dependable.

   •    I quickly adapted to this role, picking up new skills in a very fast-paced environment that was outcome and target- driven. I also worked effectively as part of a team to ensure I was able to reach my targets. 

 

FJ Booth Construction March 2017 
• Completed a one week placement at FJ Booth Construction.
• Gained insights to the behind the scenes of a leading structural steelwork contractor. • Carried out administrative work to aid in delivering nationwide turnkey projects.

Prior Pursglove College, Guisborough (2018 - 2020) 
Studied three A Levels and achieved the following grades: • Economics B; Maths B; Geography B.
