I am a very punctual individual, which is a skill that has rewarded me on numerous occasions and is a skill I can ensure I will bring to any place of work. I also have demonstrated good people skills through my experience ranging from group work in college to working with clients in a travel agency job.

I am an extremely motivated individual and strive to bring that motivation to every task I am set. I have proved myself to be a great asset to a team as my teamwork skills have been developed throughout my educational and working life.

I am a caring and compassionate person who strives for success. I believe it is important to demonstrate great communication skills, especially when working in a group. I am a person who will always strive to help and support those around me whether that be in an educational or working environment.

I have a great interest in travel and having worked in a travel agency I have a good understanding of the roles and expertise needed to be a good addition to any team in the travel sector. I would love to take on any opportunities in the travel industry and would be grateful and motivated to show a dedicated work ethic if I am awarded said opportunities.

Travel Agency;

After leaving Rainford Sixth Form, I went straight into full time work at the age of 18. I worked for a family run travel agency in Rainford Village. I have truly devoted myself to this job and have put a lot of time and effort into supporting the business. I showed a caring and accommodating attitude to all customers, both new and regular. I developed a good working relationship with the small team working alongside me. Yet I made sure my individual input was regularly known as I am keen to show my interest in any job or task I have.

Working for this company has also helped me develop good customer service and communication skills. I am understanding and ready to fix any issues the customer may have waiting for us. As well as this, the development of these skills has helped me raise my awareness of how important it is to be able to communicate with people from all different backgrounds. Another skill this working environment has helped me gain is money handling skills which I have grown to be extremely organised, responsible and trustworthy with.

Charity Work;

During my time at Rainford Sixth Form, I was involved in some voluntary work for a number of charities including; The Salvation Army and charities supporting the Ukraine. This was another experience when i worked as a team, here i got to demonstrate good leadership skills having a team to lead and a big responsibility to represent my sixth form and school. I was always eager to help out in charitable ways as I see a great value and achievement in showing compassion to those in need. I found this experience very rewarding as the charities always displayed their gratitude for my support.

Reading with younger years (year 7-8);

At Rainford High I was chosen to help children in the younger years who struggled with ranging learning disabilities. I took an opportunity to help children who struggle with reading to develop this skill. In order to do so, I had to build a positive relationship in which the child felt comfortable and confident enough to read to me despite this being a weakness in their skill set. Having achieved this I felt great pride in being able to support a child who struggled in their educational environment.

Hobbies and Interests;

 I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I also have a deep interest in travel, tourism and planes. I love to travel and find it to be enriching when I am given opportunities to see new places and experience new cultures. Additionally, I am a skilled self taught makeup artist and although I have not had a job in this industry it is still a hobby of mine that I frequently enjoy doing, I have been developing my makeup skills for 5 years and have even done makeup for a few clients. Being able to develop within this industry is something that makes me so hopeful for the future and i would appreciate any opportunities thrown my way to help me do so.
