I am a university student, going into my second year; I previously read a year of law before my current degree. I have much experience in hospitality including in both bar and café work. This university year I joined the American football team, and have learnt many value skills which can be adapted to the workplace, such as teamwork.

Previously, I worked in a barber shop in which I was in charge of bookings and making sure the shop was sanitary. I then worked in a café for 9 months which introduced me to the world of working in hospitality, in which I improved upon and learnt many skills, which can be applied to many work spaces. For 6 months during my education, I worked at Wetherspoons, which often became busy, it was here where the majority of my workplace skills were learnt, and where I got experience about the workings of a bar.

During my A-levels, I did History, Biology and Maths, before starting and finishing a year of law at Westminster University. Law was not a vocation; thus, I changed my degree to study bioarchaeology at the University of York, where I will enter my second year in September.
