2016 – 2018
JOB ROLE – Carer
DUTIES – Caring for my son with autism. Attending meeting with health professionals, overseeing his duty of care and education. Whilst my wife studied for her degree. My son now has all correct care in place and is now independent.

2015 – 2016
JOB ROLE – Multi- delivery driver
COMPANY – Harrison Brothers, Honeywell Lane, Oldham.
DUTIES – Arranging deliveries and prioritising work loads so that each drop off was efficient to benefit both the customer and employer. Organising the van to there were no damages to any of the products and maintain a high level of customer service. Dealing with customer enquiries and complaints and to be able to problem solve and resolve any customer issues with immediate effect.
REASON FOR LEAVING – My wife studying for university degree.

1991 – 2014
JOB ROLE – Inserting Operative and Drum runner / Post Press
COMPANY – Trinity Mirror PLC, Tweedale Way, Chadderton. Oldham.
DUTIES -  Maintaining the production of one of the UK’s leading tabloid newspapers. Overseeing 30 staff members. Machine maintenance, quality control and reclaiming and recycling. Meeting with HOD’s every month to discuss ways to help the company progress.
REASON FOR LEAVING – Made redundant due to the increase of online media.

1989 – 1991
JOB ROLE – YTS apprentice engineer
COMPANY -  Oldham Engineering, Lees Road, Oldham
DUTIES – I learnt numerous skills whilst employed with the company such as; welding, fitting, milling/turning. I also attended college once a week to help progress my career. 
REASON FOR LEAVING -  Higher paying wage at the daily mirror with more secure job prospects.

1988 -1989
JOB ROLE – Warehouse operative
COMPANY – City Electrical Factors, Hawksley Street, Hollinwood. Oldham.
DUTIES – Picking and packing orders for clients. Making sure all orders where in good working condition before being dispatched. Answering phone calls to customers and handling any queries. Checking orders against the shipping address and either dispatching them via mail or with a courier driver.
REASON FOR LEAVING – Left to train as an engineer.

EDUCATION
• 6 GCSE’s – A - C – Including English, Maths and Science.

• Employee of the month for 7 years running whilst at the mirror.
