A hardworking individual with a deep passion for IT and cybersecurity. An enthusiastic and professional individual who is seeking a new challenging career in Cyber Security after many years of working in the Education and Early Years sector. I am a self-motivated, reliable, and responsible member of my work team who can work both as a team player and using my own initiative when needed. In my many years working in schools and nurseries I have learnt to work well under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines and policies. I am incredibly eager to learn new skills and continue to develop my professional abilities and skills. Currently partipating in a Cybersecurity technician bootcamp, having achieved certifications in CertNexus Cybersafe, BCS CISMP and am working on completing the SC-900 exam at the end of the month.

WORK EXPERIENCE
1:1 & Learning Support Assistant – The Supply Room – August 2021-July 2023
- Responsible for creating and maintaining activity log journals,
- Working in a detailed oriented environment and incorporating age appropriate digital and electronical resources,
- Responsible for adapting the newest policies in place regarding GDPR,
- Creating and developing digital resources,
- Identify and implement assistive technology solutions to support children with special educational needs.
Early Years Practitioner/ Key worker – Bournemouth Day Nursery and Mulberry Bush – October 2018-August 2021
- Close knowledge of operating systems regarding GDPR and EYFS,
- Teach children about internet safety and responsible digital citizenship. Monitor children use of technology, ensuring they engage in age-appropriate online activities and follow proper online etiquette,
- Implement safeguards, such as parental controls and firewalls, to protect children from inappropriate content.
