Experience

I am working in a support living service, we render care and accommodation for adults with learning Disabilities, Autism and Physical Disabilities.

I oversee the running of the care service, I manage staff so they can effectively and efficiently performing their roles safely and to the best of their ability.  I am fully conversant with the CQC inspection process and able to prove compliance in the event of an inspection; I do keep abreast of changes within the Sector.

I lead my staff team by example by working with them on the floor to ensure I observe my staff while working with them, I do regular supervision for all staff, and handling disciplinary issues whenever they arise.

I take overall responsibility for health and safety of the staff and people we support, including all risk assessments according to our policies and CQC requirements.

 

I manage the budgets and contracts, I make the strategic decisions about the future and growth of the care service.

I supervise, support and work closely with our HR and Training Administrator, in recruiting and training suitable staff according to safe recruitment procedures in line with CQC requirements, and I ensure the staff training is planned, delivered and properly recorded to meet the needs of employees and the people we support. 

 

I lead on specific projects and all clinical areas, e.g. I provide a right suggestion that lead to setting up a new care service.

I have a strong leadership skills and I have ability to motivate others staff and collogues.

I have good communication skills and I have good understanding in numeracy and digital skills.

I have strong ability to think strategically, I have good project management and organisational skills.

I have been working in a social care and health sector for over 22 years.

MBA in Health and Social Care 

LLB (Hon) in Law and Business 

BA (Hon) in Management and Marketing 

ND in Business Administration 

NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care
