Kerry Gooch

My name is Kerry. I am 60 years old and have returned to the UK after 20+ years in the USA.  I am looking for a job in one of the fields that I excel in. I have been in customer service for a large part of my working life,  working in catering,  reception and retail. 

I have also worked for a number of years as a Nanny, working with a baby and children toddler age and up. 

I have also worked as a carer.

I am extremely reliable and take pride in never calling out sick from work. I am also very responsible and put 100% into all that I do.

As a professional in the jobs over my work life I have always made sure that I have been a reliable , responsible, caring team member. I work well on my own and with others and try to make sure that I give 100% in all that I do.

My last employment in the USA was at Discovery Senior Living Facility in Texas for almost two years. My main jobs were in the Memory Care facility and the Independent Living.

I was a private Nanny from April 2020 - April 2023. I nannyed for a 6 month old and then two 3 year olds and a 6 year old. 

I have been a housekeeper for 24 years.

In the UK I worked as a housekeeper at Knebworth House.

In the USA I did housekeeping for a couple. I worked for them for 14 years in Florida.  I moved to Texas in 2018 and got a job with a cleaning company called Merry Maids. We cleaned residential and businesses. When I left them I had 3 customers that wanted me to continue cleaning for them and I did that until I left the USA in December 2024.

Prior to leaving the UK for the USA, I worked in the catering field. I worked on the cooking side and serving, as well as Assistant Manager. 

I received City & Guilds in catering in the UK

I have two Associates Degrees in Medical Transcriptions from Palm Beach College and Medical Billing & Coding from Purdue University which are in the USA.
