Social

About Ketsia Vale:

I would consider myself a very creative person as I have a history of partaking in a lot of artistic activities such as acting and dancing. Growing up, I loved to dance and even though I don’t do it every day like I used to, I still try to fit it in for fitness. I would like to describe myself as a very active person since I also participate in cheerleading which has kept me in a regularly fit routine. Other interests would be fashion which I am very passionate about. I enjoy seeing the makings of fashion magazines or runways because it’s fascinating how much work can go into one masterpiece outfit. As I specialised in styling and promotion in College, I would love to start prospering in career where I could work with social media and marketing. Being from Generation Z, I have an experience of what an impact technology could do for a business or entertainment in general. That is why working with how to keep up with trends and finding was to adapt current social behaviours is something I find myself doing career wise.

Experience

I am currently working as the concierge and admin assistant at the Purple Dragon Family Club. My daily tasks are to answer and direct phone calls, organise and schedule appointments. To plan meetings and take detailed minutes. Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, forms and follow up members’ accounts; making sure that memberships are up to date. Also making sure that the club is meeting the members’ expectations always. Being with this company has taught me how to work with such high clientele and adapting to new environments. Dealing with high expectations or temperaments may be difficult but in my position, I have learned to be quick with calming heightened situations and creating immediate solutions.

Education

At Morley College London, I studied Level 3 Fashion and Textiles, which has enhanced my creativity and workmanship. I was class representative and student council, which trained me to be an example of my school. However, studying A- levels definitely taught me structure and determination which I have not lost and have learned to put that into everything I do in my work.

I completed a UAL Level 3 Extended Diploma in Creative Practice: Art, Design and Communication in 2022.
