I am a mature and highly qualified teacher with over 22 years of international service to the Education Sector. My skills and expertise range from primary, secondary, colleges, through Esl and Vocational English/Business education

As a dedicated teacher with Colleges of Excellence in Al Khobar, KSA for over 9 years now, I have found that my passion and commitment to teaching is growing consistently. 

The increasing complexities and challenges of the current educational landscape have never deterred me from reaching out to the most challenging of trainees. That feeling of getting through to that one student, who needs that extra push to believe in herself, is enough to keep me going. 

I am proud to say that as an educator, I am committed to the social, emotional and academic development of learners at all levels. Being well versed with the most current pedagogical methodologies centered on, 2nd language English learners, I go that extra mile to develop inspiring lessons that engage trainees at all levels and develop a positive and healthy environment conducive to learning.

My experience ranges from managing challenging behavior, effective strategies for differentiated learning styles, diversity, promoting second language acquisition, conducting multi-sensory approaches to learning, using IT to promote hybrid learning opportunities, and using innovating pedagogy in the classroom. 

With strong interpersonal skills I foster meaningful relationships with trainees and their guardians. As a tutor, I am committed to professional ethics, standards of practice and duty of care that allows trainees to draw upon their inner potential. I strive to develop the trainees’ self-esteem and promote the understanding of cultural diversity.

 I take care to address their diverse learning styles to promote inclusive learning. Having a strong business background, I cater to the unique requirements of business vocational students enhancing their language skills to amicably complete their assessments across different vocational programs and conduct themselves successfully during their on the job trainings. 

With excellent communication skills and an accommodating personality, I can work productively with other staff members in the best interest of the learners and the institution at large. I am confident that with my existing skill set, I will continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners preparing them to become global citizens.

Lastly, ,my many years of international business background experience and links with Dubai and Saudi, adds a strong value and enhances my ability to provide guidance and support to the trainees. I believe these qualities added strengthens and contributed significantly to the success in delivering real-life teaching experiences. I am well versed with the country, culture and the diversity it has to offer.
