About Kheera Sandhu:

I have completed my first year at the University of Sheffield studying medicine. I am a highly organised and outgoing person, allowing me to take on responsibilities presented to me. I am also a very approachable person, helping people to feel at ease in any situation as well as being able to stay calm under pressure. Always being enthusiastic and eager to learn new skills is very important to me, as well as being able work well within a team environment.

Job as Banqueting Assistant, Moor Hall Hotel, June 2022 – September 2022

  • Team management when organising for events such as weddings, parties, and dinners

  • Time management when scheduling and planning events

Volunteering at Primary School, St Mary’s Church of England Primary School, January 2022 – June 2022

  • Communicating effectively with children and helping them do tasks such as numeracy and writing
  • Helping children with activities in lessons such as PE (physical education) by creating games and activities to aid their learning
  • Being responsible for a group of children and looking out for their safety in an unsupervised environment
