Experience

I have always wanted to study and work in fields that allow me to make a difference in people's lives through various therapeutic approaches and modalities. Being a therapist is a prominent sector that has provided me with the opportunity to continue to support and make an effect on people's lives, particularly in their mental health. My abilities were acquired through significant schooling and training. My interest in this began when I sat with my great-grandmother and listened to her tell me about her life and experiences, including her challenges, without judging. What I enjoy most about becoming a therapist is assisting others in obtaining the answers they seek via therapy. Another benefit of therapy is that it allows people to focus on promoting their health and well-being rather than on reducing the negative impacts of health-related issues.
