About Laura Roberts:

I possess the enthusiasm, determination and organisational skills to develop important relationships and influence key stakeholders. I have been informed by former employers I possess the attitude and confidence to work well with new people, allowing me to easily create professional relationships. I am an excellent communicator who is not afraid to ask for help when required. I have many transferable and adaptable skills.

My drive for helping people and providing them with a high quality service is what led me to have a career in the beauty industry for several years. To see instant results and witness the reactions of my clients after providing them with a personal service is what I enjoyed the most. My career has allowed me to work with many people from different backgrounds. Although most were enjoyable to assist and work with, I have come across many challenging clients. This I feel has grown my confidence and provides me with the skills and knowledge needed to deal with the general public in a confident and professional manor.

In my current role as Covid-19 Vaccine Administrator I am able to use my customer service experience to use when contacting patients and answering their queries. After receiving my full training I have also gained the experience of working self-managed, allowing me to be consistent with my workload and ensuring I am up to date and ahead of schedule.

  • Greeting and booking in patients attending the vaccination sites
  • Booking appointments over the telephone and scheduling forthcoming appointments
  • Organising patients vaccination paperwork ready for their vaccine information to be noted
  • Recording and updating patients vaccine details on national system (WIS) and CYPrlS
  • Contacting patients who have not yet booked in for their vaccine to increase intake and log of patients decline the vaccine
  • Putting in a well organised contact system to be followed by colleges when I am out of office or in the vaccination clinic
