About Laurence Holton:

I have been working in IT for more than 30 years across a range of industries. I have a lot of experience and expertise with Oracks in particular but I also have strong C, BASH, git, PVCS and even FORTRAN knowledge. 
I have also been a line manager for a number of years in several roles. 
I have business analysis skills and business intelligence roles as well. 

Experience

I have worked in several markets, defence, telecoms, fashion retail and health care. 
I have worked as a team member and a team leader and enjoyed both roles equally. 
I have worked with several technology stacks, from Fortran on Vax VMS, through c on windows to Oracle as a DBA and a developer on numerous unix and Linux platforms. 
I have also worked with version control systems such as GIT and PVCS and designed and implemented a lights out code release system using then. 

Education

I have an honours degree in Physics from Kings College London.
