Laurence Simson

I am a native English speaker from London, with a clear and received pronunciation. I am strongly committed to supporting students with their education and instilling a love for learning and improving their English. I am a funny and caring individual with great communication, leadership, and organizational skills. In my spare time, I enjoy exploring different places and learning about their history and culture.

I have extensive knowledge of the links between learning and play, and current and past theories on how to teach children effectively and creatively, with a focus on children under the age of 5. I am very interested in researching different approaches to how creativity can be used in Education and have learnt a great deal during my time at university. My teaching style is engaging and playful and I want to provide the students with high-level learning and educational play. I do not have any prior experience of teaching, as lockdowns in my country meant that I was unable to do so. I am however very passionate about becoming a teacher and I am a fast learner.
