I am a First Class Honours Fashion Design Graduate from Nottingham Trent University. I have a strong eye for detail as well as a refined set of skills regarding this area. I have an excellent understanding of pattern and garment construction, along with extensive knowledge regarding colour theory and fabrications.
Working with brands for various projects has given me insight into the industry, this fast-paced environment causing me to be forward thinking, organised and thus produce quality work quickly and efficiently. I possess excellent communication skills; I have worked with close knit brands and communicated with manufacturers as well as my course mates and tutors as part of my course rep and cert mentor duties.
In December 2023 I won the Wallis competition with my A/W 2024 collection I designed for them. I worked alongside this brand to analyse trends, create CADs and tech packs for manufacturers, choose and source fabrics and chase and examine samples. My work has been recognised through multiple awards, being runner up for Nottingham's Young Creative Award 2023, and was chosen to be showcased at Graduate Fashion Week 2023 and on the British Fashion Council website.
I am a confident, determined, self-motivated individual looking to secure a position in the Fashion Industry that challenges me, where I can utilise my refined skills in a creative workspace.
