About Leah North:

I am currently working towards a Physical Geography BSc at Cardiff University, to graduate in July of 2024. This is an exciting time as I am looking for graduate roles and schemes to move on to the next chapter, and I am hoping to use my broad range of skills to specialise in something that will bring a positive impact to improving sustainability. I an especially passionate about Wales as it has been my home for over two decades, and as a country it represents so much of who I am, including the respect we hold as a nation for our beautiful environment.

Experience

The majority of my work experience lies within the hospitality sector, in bars, restaurants, and cafes. I have also had work experience with Poise Dance company, where together we looked at how sustainability interacts with the dance world.

Education

I am a few months away from finishing my BSc in Physical Geography from Cardiff University. I attained 4 A levels, 3 A grades in English Literature, Biology, and Welsh Baccalaureat, and an A* in Geography. I acquired 5 Bs 5 As and an A* at GCSE, along with achieving a Distinction in additional mathematics at GCE level.
