About Lily Bennett:

I'm an outgoing, friendly, and hard-working individual with excellent people skills who works well as part of a team. I graduated from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in an Acting degree last year and have recently relocated from Bristol to London. I thoroughly enjoy working in customer facing roles and am looking forward to throwing myself back into work after moving.

Experience

Helpdesk Advisor -  Hargreaves Lansdown - 2023
In this role I worked as an advisor on the helpdesk for client's with queries ranging from the stock market live prices to their investment options and financial movements. I worked both on the telephone lines and via online communication when speaking with clients. My role also included processing data and information as well as setting up and processing orders and instructions our clients placed.

 

Sales Assistant - Mountain Warehouse - 2022
Here I helped customers with their shopping, recommending, and finding the products that best suited their needs. I also worked with sorting out the stock and marketing displays.

 

Cafe Supervisor - Kafenion - 2021
Here I worked with the front of house team serving customers, working as a

barista, taking stock checks and orders and doing daily account forms for cashing

up. I loved being a part of an independent business within a small community, I

really got to know members of the community and it was a very enjoyable atmosphere

to work within.
 

Catering Staff - Bristol Zoo - 2019-2020
Being a part of the café staff at Bristol Zoo required the ability to switch roles

very quickly and be well skilled in all areas of the restaurant as well as being

able to individually run one of the many outdoor refreshment shacks. My

responsibilities included tills, bar/barista, waitressing and handling food, as

well as maintaining a good rapport with both my colleagues and our customers to

ensure they received the best experience possible, particularly as many of our

customers were young children.

Front of House - Spoke & Stringer - 2018-2019

This job required me to work as a bar tender, barista, waitress, and in the

kitchen, prepping salads and sandwiches in their deli. I provided excellent

customer service, building a rapport with my customers, and ensuring we provided

the best service possible. As a supervisor, I ensured all the food and drink we

were sending out was up to standard and the cleanliness and general presentation

of the restaurant was exceptional. I trained many new staff members over my time

there and was able to take ownership of a situation, communicating and delegating

tasks out evenly to ensure we worked seamlessly as a team for the smooth running

of the business.

Concierge and Sales Assistant - Vodafone - 2017

This job involved greeting customers as they entered the store and welcoming them

into a friendly environment, understanding their reason for coming to the store

and working with my team to meet their needs at a high standard of service. As

well as working with IT systems to process customer’s data and their phone

contracts, whilst working to meet sales targets.

 

Health Care Assistant - Lloyds Pharmacy - 2015-2016

This job involved working as part of a close-knit team of health care

professionals, and required patience and understanding in order to meet the

individual needs of each patient / customer (who may sometimes be distressed), in

a friendly and supportive manner, whilst under significant time pressure. It also

required vigilance in handling sensitive patient information and data.
