Lindsay Fitzhugh

I am an accomplished HR professional with over 11 years of experience working within a HR environment. I currently work as a HR professional, partnering at my primary stakeholder site, where I have further developed my leadership skills, amongst many others. My skill set allows me to successfully perform my role and tailor HR and people focused interventions to drive improvements in effective leadership, people management, organisational design, and development, change management and workforce strategy. I have the ability and skills set to confidently build and manage a diverse range of relationships, including those with senior stakeholders and can support others to optimise performance of their people management skills. I have excellent communication skills, both in verbal and written formats and an aptitude to analyse and understand data and apply analytics and strategic planning skills to aid business delivery.

My experience working as an HR professional has allowed me to work closely with colleagues across the MoJ People Group. This enables me to provide business insight and improve HR processes for my stakeholder site. I address challenges my site faces by working closely with colleagues across the People Group and other agencies within the MoJ including that of my team. I am currently involved with the leadership journey pilot, which will aid in achieving accurate and evidence-based understanding of how managers behave and make decisions. I have taken part in change management projects which includes creating a People committee at my site, replacing outdated ways of working. I have successfully completed a CIPD level 5 in HR management and believe this has helped me gain extensive HR knowledge and understanding of HR strategies, especially when applying change management theories and workforce strategy.
