About Lingyue Hu:
Website: killthemooon.com
I am a dedicated and innovative 3D designer and computational artist with a strong foundation in creating visually striking and technically refined work across multiple digital platforms. Currently pursuing a BA in Fine Art (Computational Art) at the University of the Arts London, my experience spans digital marketing, new media, and visual storytelling for brands and independent clients worldwide. Proficient in industry-standard software such as Blender, Zbrush, and 3D Max, I have developed 3D designs and multimedia projects that have been showcased in high-profile exhibitions and media. My portfolio demonstrates versatility, from NFT collections to complex sculptures, and I bring a passion for pushing creative boundaries while maintaining a keen eye for detail and visual cohesion.
Experience
I have gained valuable experience in digital marketing, new media, and art direction through various professional roles. As a Digital Marketing Intern at Blue Focus Communication Group in Shanghai, I collaborated with major clients like SPD Bank, designing business posters, campaign visuals, and credit card designs for platforms such as TikTok, AliExpress, and JD. I led the visual design for the 618 Shopping Festival, ensuring consistent branding across e-commerce platforms. Additionally, I worked on Starbucks' summer-themed visuals, boosting engagement and seasonal product sales.
At Studio6.cn by Chen Man, as a New Media Intern, I managed social media accounts for high-profile clients, including Jackson Wang, whose promotional campaign reached 461K views and trended on Twitter. I also coordinated visual assets for a successful NFT collection in collaboration with Grimes, which sold out in under a minute on OpenSea.
Furthermore, I’ve worked as a Freelance Artist for several years, creating album covers, posters, and music videos for clients across Canada, Australia, Finland, China, and the UK. My work highlights my versatility in 3D design, photography, editing, and visual storytelling, allowing me to effectively communicate ideas across various media platforms.
Education
I hold a BA in Fine Art (Computational Art) from the University of the Arts London, where I honed my expertise in 3D design, digital illustration, and installation art. My final project was showcased on the university’s official website, and my coursework was selected as exemplary work for future cohorts. Throughout my studies, my work gained recognition in several prestigious exhibitions, including displays at The Fitzrovia Gallery and Camberwell College of Arts, and has been featured in ArtDaily and the French magazine Hube, further highlighting the impact of my artistic practice in both academic and professional circles.
