With a strong background in event planning and management, coupled with my passion for creating memorable experiences.

Over the past six years, I have honed my skills in all aspects of wedding event management, from initial concept and planning to seamless execution. In my current position at The Venue at Kersey Mill, I successfully managed a diverse range of weddings and events, including corporate conferences and trade shows. My ability to oversee all facets of event logistics, vendor negotiations, budget management, and team coordination has consistently resulted in highly successful and well-received events.

I am passionate about hosting events, from the outset of the planning stage to the execution in the success of the event on the day. I host numerous transferable skills and welcome and enjoy new challenges.

• Managed all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, vendor coordination, scheduling, and budget management for weddings ranging from intimate gatherings to large-scale events.
• Cultivated strong relationships with vendors (caterers, florists, photographers, musicians) to negotiate contracts, secure bookings, and manage vendor deliverables on event day.
• Provided day-of coordination, overseeing setup, ensuring timelines were adhered to, and troubleshooting any unexpected issues to ensure smooth execution.
• Created detailed timelines, checklists, and event layouts to ensure every element of the wedding was organized and executed flawlessly.

I have been out of full time education for over 25 years but over the last 5 years I have enrolled myself in home education studies related to event management, with a high level of success in all courses.
