As a former nurse turned freelance visual designer and artist, my path has been an unexpected journey of transformation and creativity.

I was drawn to nursing because I wanted to make a positive impact on people's lives. I found great satisfaction in helping others. However, I also had a deep-seated passion for art and design. I loved to express myself creatively and felt that my artistic talents could be used in a way that would connect with people on a deeper level.

After several years of nursing, I decided to pursue my dream of becoming a visual designer and artist. I started my own brand and threw myself into the world of creativity. I enrolled in postgraduate courses on cultural studies. I learned about typography, colour theory, and visual storytelling. I experimented with different mediums, from traditional drawing and painting to digital illustration and graphic design.

My work has always been influenced by my experiences as a nurse. I’m drawn to expressive lines and intricate details. I believe that art should be accessible to everyone, and I want my work to evoke emotions and inspire people.

I’ve had the privilege of exhibiting my work at several fairs and exhibitions, and I’m incredibly grateful for the support and recognition I’ve received from others along the way. The opportunity to connect with others through my art and make a positive impact on the world is something I treasured most in my life.

I enrolled in a postgraduate diploma module on visual cultures, where I embarked on a journey to explore the power and significance of images in society. I delved into the diverse forms of visual communication, ranging from traditional mediums like painting and photography to more contemporary forms like digital art and videography.

Through engaging coursework and hands-on projects, I gained a profound understanding of how visual images shape my perceptions of the world around me. I examined the rhetorics of image, delving into how visual cues can be employed to persuade, evoke emotions, or convey intricate concepts.
