About Lorinda Dean:

I have a First class hons degree in Costume interpretation with Design. I have over 30 years experience in sewing and am currently a seamstress for a prom and bridal boutique. I have managerial and team leader experience in retail before changing my career to costume. I have skills in corsetry, tailoring, millinery, costume design, pattern cutting, manipulation and design.

I have a very strong work ethic and treat everyone with the respect they deserve. 

I have a passion for sewing taking my hobby into a new career path. 

Experience

. I have gained experience in film and television with designing and creating costumes for a major Netflix film called DAMSEL being aired in 2024 and also for the television show CHALLENGE ANNEKA which was aired in 2023. I have been a Costume Standby for a film callled MIRRORS by Brando Productions in 2023 

Education

First Class Hons degree in Costume interpretation with Design at Northern School of Art in 2023.

Seamstress for Pressed Prom and Bridal from 2016 to present day. 

Apprenticeship in Retail with Tesco PLC. 2016

Tesco Manager and Team Leader on both Food and Non Food areas and assistant 1992 to 2016.
