I'm a customer/patient orientate person. I have a variety of Medical Laboratory experience. Including operating and maintenance of analysers

I have aided in the verification of analysers and have received external training from multiple Laboratory suppliers. I'm looking to progress my career and learn new skills

I have many years experience in a fast paced Laboratory environment

Being the operator of an Alinity CI including setup analysing QCs and calibrators aswell as processing EQA

Reviewing calibration curves and Levy Jennings charts for all analytes

Handling and analysis of patient samples for chemistry and immunology assays

 I am adept and interpretating chromatograms and chromatographs on Tosoh and Sebia as well as identifying haemoglobinopathies

I have reached trainer and supervisor levels on these analysers  providing training for colleagues and creating SOPs

Most recently as a Lab technician I have aided in the implementation of new Alinity analysers

Met the verification deadline early and passed UKAS inspection with zero findings

I am currently working through the IBMS Certificate of achievement where I aim to be a registered science technician.

I have received distinctions in Welsh Baccalaureate in business and enterprise.

GCSEs A*-C in: Maths, English, Biology, Physics, Psychology, RE and History.

The majority of my experience has been gained through hands-on work and working in a Laboratory.
