Lucas Alvizi

Professional with +15 years experience in molecular genetics and cell biology. Currently Senior Research Fellow at UCL.

I am a molecular and cell biologist experienced in delivering research outcomes to complex biological traits.
My role involves coordinating research initiatives using cell models for development and disease, by the application of genetic and epigenetic editing tools and multi-omics approaches.

Previously, I served as a research fellow at University of Sao Paulo, where I worked on human genetics and genetic counselling of craniofacial malformations at the Human Genome and Stem Cell Research Center (Brazil). During this this time, I fostered collaborations with multidisciplinary teams spanning across institutions such as at the Institute of Child Health (London, UK), Hospital do Rim (Sao Paulo, Brazil), Hospital das Clinicas (Sao Paulo, Brazil) and Instituto Butantan (Sao Paulo, Brazil).
