Lucy Oxlade

I'm a polite and friendly person who works well as part of a team and on my own. I enjoy meeting new people and learning new things. I'm currently working as a health care assistant but I'm hoping to move away from that and focus on the wellness side of things. I completed my introduction to counselling course back in December last year and have just started a  counselling course with added CBT. Once I’ve completed it I will be able to join and become a member of the ACCPH. I've also just finished my care certificate and did a course on safeguarding vulnerable adults. 

I have over 10 years experience of working with children in different childcare settings between the ages of 6 months and 11 years. I have over two years experience of working with people who are living with dementia at Damecroft residential care home where I worked as a health care assistant. 

I completed my care certificate and a safeguarding vulnerable adults course recently as part of my current job and back in December last year I completed a introduction to counselling course at Bedford college.
