About Lucy Rees-Davies:
I am a hardworking, strong, positive individual. My Degree in Graphic Communication has given me tools in many areas. It helped me learn to work as both part of a team and individually. I have a keen eye for detail and can communicate with many different people in all areas of life. After my degree I worked for my local newspaper as an Advertising Executive for seven years. It was a rewarding role and I was soon running both the recruitment and leisure departments.
Later I was a temp for Indeed where I was working for the housing association. My main role was to manage the trade operatives in order to keep to targets for the installation of the fire doors. I was also tasked with reorganising the paper records and digital records for Gas and Electrical installation certificates for the properties. Since then I have become a stay at home mum for my three children. While I have been at home I have also been a Parent Governor for St John’s School and I am also a Secretary and Coach for my sons football team in order to keep the team running smoothly. I am well known in my community as I often volunteer for community events where ever I feel I can be of help.
As my children are now older I feel I am able to go back to work on a full time basis. I am looking for a role where I can really use the skills I have gained over the years and will hopefully find a challenging role that will really keep me engaged. I have impeccable communication skills and know my way around a computer well. I feel my strongest skills are in organisation, motivation, team building, leadership and negotiation.
