About Luke Moores:

I'm seeking a temporary position during the school holidays as an EFL Teacher. I have previously worked in international summer schools and completed my CELTA with International House. I work as a maths teacher in a London school so I am available during school holidays.

Second in charge of Mathematics

I am currently second in charge of a high performing mathematics department in a West London state school. I teach all year groups including classes preparing for exams in GCSE Mathematics and Further Mathematics. As well as supporting the head of mathematics in the day-to-day running of the department, I also have responsibility for overseeing and developing the KS3 curriculum and mentoring new teachers.

Key Stage 3 Mathematics Coordinator

I joined as a newly qualified teacher and taught all year groups, as well as being a form tutor. I taught GCSE and both pure and applied A-level mathematics. In my second year, I became the key stage 3 coordinator for the department and school lead for the mathematics mastery programme.

Activity Manager

Whilst studying at university, I worked at an English language international summer school each year. The summer school hosted 11-18 year old students from many nationalities, based residentially at a university campus. In later years, I became part of the management team leading a group of staff to plan and deliver the activity programme. I designed and led the schedule of sports, activities and excursions as well as assisting in the day-to-day running of the centre and being part of the safeguarding team.
