I am currently employed full time as Site Engineering Director for a state-of-the-art semiconductor manufacturing fabrication plant producing high volume semiconductor chips to automotive customers around the world. 

I am fully responsible and accountable for all Operational and Engineering activities in the 24x7 facility. I am a technical expert in Semiconductor Fab manufacturing with over 25years of experience in both process and equipment. 

The job also involves project management of fab expansion to meet capacity expansion and new technology introduction into the plant to be in a state of readiness for new business demands. I am responsible for budget management and cost reduction programs for the site along with several Automation Project management.

I hold a degree in Electronics Engineering and Master of Business Administration from Cardiff University, Additionally I am also PRINC2 certified with projects management skills.

Professional Experience: 

Site Engineering Director Nexperia | Aug 2019 – Present 

Role Overview:

 • Complete accountability for 24/7 DMAN site engineering operations, overseeing high-volume production of 14000 wafers per week on 150mm and 1000 wafers per week on 200mm silicon wafers generating revenue to tune of 150M$ per month. 

• Managed a team of 10+ senior managers and 250+ Indirect engineers ensuring equipment and process performance, high yields and zero quality incidents for automotive customers. 

• Deputise for the Site Director on need basis, achieving all site-wide metrics and operational objectives. 

Responsibilities: 

• Oversaw Factory KPIs, including output, delivery, supply value, quality, and headcount. 

• Directed budget management and CAPEX planning for strategic investments to tune of 100M$ 

• Led the ramp-up of the 200mm pilot line, doubling output to meet business demands.

 • Introduced new generation technologies ranging f rom 0.25um to 0.18um nodes into production.

 • Implemented cost-down initiatives and Factory 4.0 automation projects. Achievements:

 • Successfully introduced latest generation T6, T8, T12 MOSFET technologies to volume production on both 6- and 8-inch platforms • Reduced YoY by 15% costs through continuous improvement programmes and innovative practices 

• Introduction of Cobots and Artificial Intelligence into Fab to improve productivity, ef ficiency and reducing labour cost • Optimized Organization structure to be Lean and Agile • Introduced technical ladder and fostering internal growth plans to improve attrition rate
