I have been working for 4 years, I am passionate about helping people of all backgrounds and I have an NCQ Level 2 in dementia care and qualifications in first aid, GDPR and pharmaceutical assistance (NVQ Level 2)

I have a lot of passion and enthusiasm to give to a role I hope to stay with for a very long time. I am looking to settle into a job where I can use my skill set and grow. 

Pharmacy Dispenser Nov 2020 – present   

 My current role as a senior member of a clinical team means I am patient-facing in a community setting, this means I deal with a range of people from all backgrounds and walks of life. I can handle many challenging situations including a range of emotions both positive and negative. I am empathetic, resilient, calm, collected and mature, this is reflected in my work and good relationship with management and fellow colleagues at all levels. My role involves selling medications to customers over the counter, dealing with queries and concerns both medical and general, understanding the uses and effects of medications, picking, labelling and giving out prescriptions, ordering and putting away stock and a knowledge of when to refer cases to a pharmacist or another senior member of the clinical team for further advice or a consultation. I handle money as part of my role, including the use of a till and card machine. A large part of my role involves speaking to health care professionals such as doctors, nurses, surgeons and specialists using the clinical terminology, meaning I have a good understanding ofl health conditions, their symptoms and their treatment. I am a qualified first aider, I obtained this qualification in 2020, I am regularly assessed and use this skillset often within my job role.
