I live in Henley on Thames and have actually worked in property for the last 23 years, including ten years in the high end central London market and more recently in the prime department at Savills locally, selling luxury properties. So client relationships, meticulous planning and organisation skills, selling/up-selling and of course staying calm under pressure, are some of the skills I can modestly say, I am quite well versed in.

More relevantly, I used to work in events years ago for a restaurant group in central London, before going into property which is where I have since built my career but having ran events for restaurants and a nightclub in Covent Garden at the time, event coordination  and running the event on the day is a skill and passion that has never left me.

I recently left my job at Savills to spend time caring for my Mum who has MS but always with the intent to move away from estate agency and to get back into an events role. I would modestly like to think I have the necessary transferable skills  in client and event management alone, to be successful in an events role and am prepared to go in at a junior level in order to get back into the industry.
