I am a highly motivated and adaptable mechanical engineer with a solid academic foundation and hands-on experience in the field. I graduated with a BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from Teesside University, where I developed expertise in Computer Aided Design (CAD), prototyping, Finite Element Analysis, and Workplace Health and Safety. My proficiency with industry-standard software such as Siemens NX 12, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD, coupled with my ability to effectively manage workloads and work under pressure, makes me a valuable asset in any engineering team. Additionally, my current pursuit of an MBA is equipping me with advanced business acumen, enhancing my leadership and project management capabilities. My professional experience includes roles that have honed my problem-solving, risk assessment, and team collaboration skills, ensuring I can deliver innovative and practical solutions in real-world engineering projects.

As a mechanical engineering graduate presently pursuing an MBA, I offer a unique combination of technical knowledge and business expertise to my career. My career started at First Source Solutions in Middlesbrough, where I've been a Customer Service Agent since January 2021. In this capacity, I thrive in client engagement, issue resolution, and training new staff, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and adherence to company norms.

I formerly worked as a Table Tennis Coach and Administrative Assistant at Swerve Table Tennis Centre from January 2019 until January 2021. I led coaching sessions, oversaw administrative chores, and carried out safety inspections, demonstrating my leadership and organisational abilities.

In addition, I worked at Akbar's in Middlesbrough from January 2019 to January 2021 in a variety of positions such as Chef Assistant, Cashier, and Waiter. I was in charge of equipment maintenance, complying to health and safety rules, organising personnel schedules, and conducting financial transactions.

My hands-on experience is supplemented by my academic background and knowledge of CAD software (Siemens NX 12, SolidWorks, AutoCAD), Microsoft Office Suite, and team collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom. This set of abilities enables me to participate effectively in engineering and business settings.

I hold a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mechanical Engineering from Teesside University, where I graduated with a 2:1 grade in 2023. My coursework included key modules such as Computer Aided Analysis, Dynamics and Vibration, and Aeroengines & Rocket Science, among others. My dissertation focused on Perovskite Tandem Solar Cells, exploring the technological, material, and packaging advances as well as R&D challenges. I am proficient in CAD software including Siemens NX 12, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD, and have a solid understanding of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Workplace Health and Safety.
