DENTAL SURGEON AND CLINICAL ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER

PROSMILES DENTAL, BENGALURU, India (September 2021- AUGUST 2022) 

My role as a clinical administrative officer was to ensure the efficient operation of healthcare facilities, balancing administrative responsibilities with a commitment to high-quality patient care. 

My key responsibilities were:

1. Patient record management: Accurate and confidential maintenance of medical histories, treatment plans, diagnostic results, and other essential patient information. 

2. Financial Oversight: In charge of financial matters within the healthcare facility, overseeing billing, invoicing, and reimbursement processes. The clinic was empaneled under the Central Government Health scheme (CGHS), Ex- Servicemen Health Scheme (ECHS) and India Space Research Organization (ISRO), I managed the referrals and reimbursements for patients covered under these schemes.

3. Recall System and Patient Scheduling: Implementing and managing an efficient patient recall system was a priority. 

4. Staff Welfare: Took steps to prioritize staff welfare including addressing staff needs, providing support, and fostering a positive working environment.  

5. Clinical Practice:  I contributed to diagnosis and treatment planning, applying my medical expertise to provide high-quality healthcare services.

DR ARAVIND’S DENTAL CARE, TRIVANDRUM, INDIA (JUNE 2020- AUGUST 2021)

My key responsibilities were:

1. Patient care: I have handled over 1000 patients, managing diagnosis using clinical and radiographic knowledge, and preparation of treatment plans based on patient preference. 

2. Patient record management: I have maintained electronic and physical records of all the patients, including personal details, previous medical history, treatment details and financial transactions.

3. Assisting Chief dental surgeon and Consultants during major surgical procedures.

4. Creating patient schedules as per appointments and maintenance of patient recall and appointment records.

5. Documentation of financial records for audits.
