An integrative counsellor and psychotherapist providing services on both short terms, issue-focused and on an open-ended basis, face-to-face, and online with individuals age16+

I am dedicated to providing support, guidance and an individual approach to help clients overcome a diverse range of difficulties with the aim of improving their well-being.

I draw on my wide-ranging life experience as well as theoretical knowledge to maintain compassion, openness and acceptance regardless of the nature of the challenges brought into the therapy room.

Experience

I currently have a private practice working from home and I also rent a room nearby. During my training in October 2021, I started my placement as a psychotherapist at Nottingham Counselling Services, where I continued as a volunteer until 2024. In both workplaces, I deliver one to one sessions to adult clients with a wide range of presenting issues, including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, addiction, bereavement, trauma and many others. 

Previously, I was a foster carer for 8 years, supporting children, young people, and families. My work involved liaising with different agencies, social services, parents, medical professionals, schools, and CAMHS to ensure the appropriate support, keeping accurate records, writing detailed reports to the court, and supervising contact arrangements when necessary.
