Marcus Grogan

I'm a first-class LLB graduate from the University of Warwick with hands-on experience across derivatives, fund finance, and offshore corporate law. I’ve worked as a paralegal at Reed Smith, contributed to live deals and client deliverables, and produced regulatory newsletters. My background spans legal research, client communications, and legal tech, with internships at Carey Olsen and Central England Law Centre. I’m proactive, adaptable, and driven to apply my legal training in a fast-paced, commercially focused environment.

I am a first-class law graduate with diverse legal and commercial experience across private practice, pro bono, and international settings. At Reed Smith, I work as a Paralegal in the Derivatives and Fund Finance team, supporting ISDA negotiations, fund structuring, and live deal management while also leading on legal tech initiatives and client-facing publications. I previously undertook a multi-department internship at Carey Olsen, gaining exposure to trusts, corporate, and litigation practices in offshore jurisdictions, and have provided legal support in public and immigration law through internships at the Central England Law Centre. Beyond traditional legal work, I have led over 1,500 English language and interview-preparation sessions for professionals via Ringle, directed Model UN conferences with IMUNA, and supported ESG research at Schroders. My experience is marked by adaptability, research rigour, and consistent client-facing excellence.
