Some 1st (direct person to person requests) and 2nd line support role providing technical support to end users at client’s premises. Including incidents, requests, troubleshooting for problems, or change control depending on the requirements of customer. Independently deployed and embedded within the small IT team with major functions cloud based (Azure). Microsoft Azure Active Directory, Autopilot and Intune. Deploy, manage, maintain PCs and company mobile telephones. Supporting customer specific applications including ArcGIS; Flurometry analysis and recording. Interface with user base to support Microsoft applications such as Sharepoint and other Microsoft Office productivity applications. Analyse and diagnose application faults, researching and deploying solutiuons 

Technical Support Engineer : September 2006 – August 2019 | Neology / 3M / PIPS Technology. Hook, Hampshire

Primary support of Automatic Numberplate Recognition Systems – hardware and software. Office and home based with site visits to customers nationally and internationally to train, integrate, support, test and deploy. Problem solving and recommendation of appropriate products to meet customers' requirement. Remote and telephone support of customers 1st, 2nd and some 3rd line as needed. Customers based worldwide.

Application Support Analyst : March 2000 – July 2006 | Johnson Controls Limited. Waterlooville, Hampshire

Construction, maintenance and support of Citrix Servers and Server farms used to deliver business supporting applications locally to the office site and to remote branches and customers locations. Served as a member of the IT department with direct experience of corporate networks and data centre management with exposure to database installation and management in conjunction with the applications deployed to the Citrix Servers. Server specification, configuration and deployment including installation and configuration of Microsoft SQL Server. Some remote working and travel to other sites and locations. Member of Infrastructure support team with 2nd line and some 3rd line responsibility for resolving reactive and planned maintenance and support. Out of hours support and on call.
