I am a recent fashion graduate looking to begin my career within the admin side of the industry. I was recently due to start as an Assistant Merchandiser at a fashion distributor but the company had sudden budget cuts which unfortunately prevented me from starting. However, this fortified my eagerness to start a career in merchandising, thus I am looking for a company that will help me thrive. I am detail-oriented, creative and diligent, and believe the skills I have accumulated over the last three years of my degree are most suited to an admin role within a fashion house. 

Current Role – Production Assistant at Candle Makery:

• Maintaining efficiency and quality standards throughout the working day to handcraft, pour and package items while following strict guidelines to ensure customer satisfaction

• Using machinery and personalising a range of products using graphic design skills and an eye for detail to ensure uniqueness and creativity, contributing to the brand’s reputation

• Assisting the Customer Experience Team with inbound enquiries and offering exceptional customer communication alongside maintaining a heavy workload

1 year as a Cocktail Bartender at Ramona & The Firehouse:

• Communicating efficiently and effectively in a team-oriented environment to complete tasks and operate to a high degree, optimising sales and hitting incentives targets

• Managing customer complaints with professionalism and sincerity, earning high rates of positive feedback, developing customer service skills and experience

• Practicing strict organisation with the management of stock levels and updating inventory when needed with budget awareness, maintaining constant monitoring and vigilance of stock both on bar and in venue

8 months as a Bartender at Factory251:

• Levelheaded approach to working at a fast pace in a pressurised environment while solving customer, stock and venue related issues pragmatically and efficiently

• Supervising and assisting newer employees on the bar, developing managerial skills such as being able to allocate employees in order to optimise service and perform at prime standard

• Adaptability during unexpected changes such as taking on several other roles around the venue in order to help the business run smoothly

Waitress/Server/Bartender/Bar-Back for The Cocktail Service ltd and Bar Nation:

• Willingness to work overtime to ensure a well organised workforce, therefore contributing to both the overall yield of sales as well as the subjective well-being of colleagues

• Adaptability to ever-changing venues such as festivals, events and operas, ensuring a maintained level of professionalism and efficient customer service throughout to develop professional relationships with both clientele and colleagues

• Usage of both POS software and cash handling while teaching colleagues to use software and check both cash and IDs using UV light, in turn creating a safe and secure environment for both customers and colleagues
