Mary Sulich

I have extensive experience in using Microsoft Office packages, especially Word and Excel, and I have the ability to work amazingly on my own or impeccably as part of a great research team as demonstrated by my individual research projects and group work throughout my university degree all gaining exceptional grades.

I am an incredibly self-motivated person and possess great determination to learn new skills and complete tasks to exceptional standards. My work is methodical and well-organised, as well as being able to hone in on even the smallest details to create perfection.

I possess  sound research skills, especially quantitative, as harnessed by my Criminology and Sociology degree, including univariate, bivariate and multivariate analysis techniques. 

• Bar Supervisor at MMU Student Union Bar (September 2023-Present)- As supervisor, I continue the role of bar staff, but I am also responsible for opening and setting up the bar in mornings and/or closing the bar down and securing the doors/building on an evening. As well as this I am responsible for evening banking when closing, cashing off the tills and card readers, and handling any general issues such as keg changes, product issues and refunds. I have also gained my personal licence while working here. 
• Bar Staff at MMU Student Union Bar (September 2022-September 2023)- Here I worked as a member of Bar staff at the Manchester Metropolitan University union bar part time, taking drink and food orders, making both soft and alcoholic drinks and taking out food orders, as well as keeping the bar clean and tidy and handling cash.
• Retail Assistant at Harvey’s of Halifax (May 2022-July 2022)- I took on a temporary role in the menswear department. Key tasks included; Looking after customers while they shop with us, helping them find what they need and looking for their sizes if they aren’t out, Checking delivery products, working through the paperwork, putting the delivery away, Answering the telephone and answering inquiries from customers, as well as from other departments in the store and the office, Handling cash, as well as cashing up in a morning, Keeping the department tidy and appealing to the customer.
• Bistro Assistant at Cinnamon (September 2020-August 2021)- Key tasks included Making sure that customers were well looked after, taking orders and relaying information to the kitchen and drinks counter, money handling, helping in the kitchen by working the dishwasher, taking out food to customers, keeping the café clean and tidy.
• Sales Assistant at Warren James Jewellers (November 2018-September 2021)- Key tasks included answering any questions customers asks either in store or over the phone, explaining any information to the customers in a way that they can understand, making sure the customer gets the right product, whether it is what they have chosen or what I have helped them to choose.

I am a recent graduate obtaining a 1st class honours degree in BSc Criminology and Sociology with Quantitative methods. 
 

From my BSc I have gained advanced data and statistical literacy, advanced knowledge of data software using SPSS, advanced data translation, great data transformation, analysis techniques such as multivariate analysis (multiple linear regression/ binary logistic regression), data modelling and testing, and data visualisation.
