Matt Lovell

A quick overview of me: I’m a long term contractor, with over 10 years experience working as  a contractor. My development experience has included everything from creating and integrating pixel perfect responsive accessible front ends with REST APIs or more recently GraphQL. I’ve used pretty much every front end technology with many of the most popular CMS systems. I’ve also implemented ML/AI in web applications to rapid development of promotional microsites and even built mobile apps and animations.

I’ve mainly worked with creative agencies, but have also worked client side in most sectors, as well as some more IT orientated agencies for public sector clients.

My experience ranges from all aspects of development, production and technical project management to process optimisation, requirements gathering and strategy.  I have managed teams of developers, designers and animators, and led end to end project builds from pitch to final handover. 

Other work has included everything from creating prototypes, implementing ML/AI in web applications, sites and apps to animations in adverts.

I have primarily worked alongside designers, copywriters, creative teams, and account managers as well as working solo; I have worked with start ups, advertising agencies, banks, media organizations and everything else in between.
