• Underwriting new enquiries and renewals end-to-end, liaising with brokers and clients daily, along with frequent travel to develop new business.
• Currently the main P&I underwriter for the fixed premium Middle Eastern, Indian sub-continent, Australian and US books, whilst providing underwriting support for numerous different areas including South/Central America, Turkey, Greece and South East Asia.

• Supported the underwriting department on a number of day-to-day tasks: Producing policy documentation and endorsements, processing risks on our Sequel and Marine Navigator underwriting systems, credit control, processing declines and NTUs, report generation and various other administrative tasks.
• Proactively created various Excel spreadsheets which format and generate policy documents automatically using Visual Basic in order to improve efficiency and accuracy for the team.

• Full responsibility for the monthly PMD return submission to Lloyd’s and producing monthly ROCE documents, as well as monitoring the underwriter’s electronic placement mandates from Lloyd’s and various other ad hoc tasks for the underwriting team.
