About Maura O'Callaghan:
Hi there!
I'm a mature person with twenty five years of experience working in the field of care. I'm based in the west of Ireland but moving to Edinburgh in four weeks. I have a Diploma in Applied Social Studies (3 years).
Beyond my qualifications and experience, I'm a kind, responsible person dedicated to any role I have taken on in the past. Even though I have worked with people with learning disabilities for the last twenty years, I have always continued to work with children on the side because I get so much joy from this.
I'm a serious person and take my commitments seriously but when working with children one has to keep it light. I enjoy play, reading books, art and outdoor activities.
