As a Welcome Desk Assistant at the University of Wolverhampton's Students' Union, my responsibilities saw me as the face of the organisation, greeting staff and students in an approachable manner. I championed a meticulous and communicative approach, effectively liaising across the Students’ Union, following company procedures to maintain records, as well as efficient and tailored advice in person and via email. From developing close relationships within the organisation, I was able to advance essential interpersonal skills to become a valuable and supportive team player. I ensured to create a safe and inclusive environment for all stakeholders to professionally allow me to listen attentively and address any enquiries while maintaining a commitment to celebrate diversity. While assisting in student related enquiries, alongside society requests, I adopt an empathetic, respectful, and supportive attitude to ensure confidence and a welcoming environment for all. My commitment to ensuring excellent customer service and consistently going the extra mile was recognised when I was nominated for 'Student Staff Member of the Year' award at the annual SU Awards. 

As a front of house assistant at the Arena Theatre I successfully impart excellent customer service in my responsibilities as an usher and a bartender. Before a performance I welcome patrons and promptly address any questions to ensure immediate customer satisfaction. This is perfected on the bar, where I independently serve customers in a fast-paced and often high-pressured environment, especially during sold out performances. By championing a customer focused approach, I maintain efficient and convenient sales throughout the interval to ensure continued morale with reduced waiting times. My resilience and adaptability are evidenced by continually setting sale records. By maintaining exceptional cleaning duties, I ensure that the foyer and auditorium is presentable and undertake regular stock checks to ensure high levels of items for consistent customer satisfaction. For continued professional development, I undertook training on the box office, allowing full collaboration within the theatre to become a valued member of the team.
