Melissa Hicks-Roche

I am an individual that has a passion for making a difference in people's lives. This drive is evident in various facets of my life. From managing a guest house and front of house operations to owning and running a business, I've consistently sought to make experiences that are efficient but also enriching.

Beyond my professional endeavors, I enjoy being able to contribute to charitable causes, especially the RSPCA and Hospice. I love the feeling of being able to give back to the community.

I enjoy spending quality time with my family and I find solace and rejuvenation in the outdoors, whether its through exercise, leisurely walks or tending to my garden. 

With a diverse professional background spanning across various industries, I bring a wealth of expertise to the table. As the owner of a roofing business in South Africa, I gained invaluable experience in business operations and management. Transitioning to the hospitality sector, I excelled as a  manager of a guest house at Lyttle Irving and front of house manager at Notten's bush lodge in the Sabi Sands, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and seamless operations.

I further expanded my skill set as a personal assistant to the director of Africa Cladding which was based in Mozambique. I demonstrated exceptional organizational abilities and the capability to handle a wide range of responsibilities. Currently in my position in finance at Juice Global, I contribute to the company's growth and financial success. 

I completed my secondary education at Nuriootpa High School, where I obtained my matriculation. Following this I pursued a Pastel Sage accounting course, further enhancing my proficiency in accounting principals.
