About Michael Nimmo:

I have been in ESL since 2008 and have worked in Italy, Kuwait and Vietnam. I have CELTA, TYLEC, DipTESOL and MSc in Applied Linguistics. I have taught, managed language centres, and been an IELTS examiner. I am looking forward to finding a new role lecturing at a university as the next step in my professional journey. 

Experience

I taught adults for seven years in Genoa, Italy. I then moved to Kuwait and worked at the British Council for four years, first as a Core, then a Higher Teacher. I was also an IELTS examiner there. I moved to Vietnam in 2019 to manage a branch of a language centre for Apollo English. I was promoted to manage two centres the following year.
